Sarah Townsend is Head of Marketing & Publicity at Bankside Films. 

She previously set up film marketing consultancy, SFM Film in 2014, offering marketing and publicity services to sales companies and producers.  Prior to that she held the post of Group Head of Marketing and Distribution at Independent Film Company for 8 years; responsible for strategy and management of marketing and communications across all aspects of the business covering production, sales and distribution.

Sarah has over 20 years’ experience in international sales and marketing, starting out at Vine International Pictures in 1998.
